It’s safe to say that we all yearn to have luscious hair that has volume and shines all day. There are plenty of healthy hair oils out there but here’s one secret oil that you need to start using as soon as possible; rosehip oil!
We often fail to realize that our hair undergoes a lot of damage on a daily basis. Pollution, heat and the climate are all contributing factors that can cause damage to the hair.
Winter usually causes the skin to dry out, which is why you might notice your scalp feeling dryer during the colder season. This could lead to an itchy scalp and even dandruff- a quick fix here is to keep the scalp well moisturized and hydrated
The environment and pollution around you could also cause your hair further damage. Dust particles settle on the hair and cause the hair to look dull and flat, not to mention that prolonged exposure to pollution could even aggravate hair loss. Using rosehip oil treatment is exactly what your hair needs to overcome these issues.
Rosehip oil: What you need to know
You might have previously heard of rosehip oil but probably have no idea why it’s such a great product. Rosehip oil is extracted from the rose fruit through distillation; it’s a natural and affordable product that has no harsh chemicals. Research and studies prove that rosehip oil is an extremely beneficial product to use on the hair and skin. It’s filled with anti-oxidants and vitamins (A, E & C) which are all active ingredients that help nourish and strengthen the hair.
Hydrates scalp and conditions the hair
Rosehips oil is the perfect oil to use on dry skin, especially the scalp. It’s not as greasy as other oils and this allows the skin to absorb the product thoroughly. Rosehip oil actually works wonders when trying to get rid of dandruff; it moisturizes the scalp and eliminates skin from flaking.
Restores damaged hair
Styling the hair regularly with heat can cause brittle and damaged hair. Blow dryers, straighteners, and curling tongs are all culprits for this issue and rosehip oil is the perfect solution. The reason this works well on damaged hair is that the hair easily consumes the rosehip oil, allowing it to repair.
Treat your hair as often as needed to restore and promote healthy hair.
Great for hair loss and hair thinning
As previously mentioned, certain environmental issues can aggravate hair thinning and hair loss. Simple things like dust and being in a heated/air coned environment can affect the hair from breathing.
Rosehip oil has 2 key ingredients that work wonderfully in assisting and increasing hair growth; fatty acids & anti-oxidants. The fatty acids promote elasticity in the hair while adding shine and the anti-oxidants fight free radicals. Free radicals form naturally and are generated by the body’s metabolism and other environmental influences, such as pollution and second-hand smoke.
